Polk County deputies are looking for 32-year-old James Lopez, for his part in a shooting in Bartow on Wednesday, March 6th.
An argument started when Lopez confronted another man about some money that was owed to him. The argument turned physical and Lopez shot the victim in the chest, then took off running.
Fortunately, the victim survived.
Detectives secured a warrant for the arrest of James Lopez for Aggravate Battery with a Deadly Weapon (F2) and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon(F2).
