Jail Visitation

Jail Visitation

Polk County Jail inmates at both the Central County Jail and the South County Jail have opportunities to visit with friends and family. Friends and family can schedule an Anywhere video visit – inmates are allowed anywhere visits twice per week for 20 minutes each day via the Securus video visitation system. Click here to access the Securus video visitation system.

Video visitation allows the visitor and the inmate to see each other and to communicate, while preserving the safety and the security of the facility by alleviating the concerns of bringing visitors onto the compound. Inmate Visitation is held at the following times every day of the week excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, at each of the jail facilities:

Anywhere Visit*

7:30 am to 10:30 am
12:00 pm to 4:00 pm
5:00 pm to 10:30 pm

**pre-adjudicated youth visits are from 3:00 - 9:00 p.m only**

Each Anywhere visitation session is $10.00 for 20 minutes

Video visitation for either jail is by appointment only. Appointments can only be made by visiting

PLEASE NOTE: All visit creations, changes and/or cancellations require a 24 hour notice in the system. Any changes within the system that do not allow for a 24 hour advance notice once the appointment has been made, shall result in the original appointment being counted as one of the inmates allotted visits for the week due to availability. Once the visit has been scheduled, please call the facility to make changes to the existing visit. You can reach the Central County Jail at 863-534-6153/6173, and the South County Jail at 863-635-6826/1126.
