Polk County Sheriff's detectives are seeking the identity of the suspect seen here who stole a $42.00 bottle of Hennessy cognac from Tony's Liquor Store located at 4009 Knights Station Road in Lakeland.

Around 10:48 a.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2023, the unknown black female suspect driving a dark-colored Nissan went into the store and down one of the aisles, where she retrieved a bottle of Hennessy, looked around, and then placed it in her shoulder bag. She then took another bottle of Hennessy to the counter, and asked the clerk how much it cost. When he told her the price, she told him it was "too much" and then bought $5.00 worth of scratch-off tickets.
