The Polk County Sheriff's Office is trying to identify the man in these photos taken from security video.
According to the deputy's report, a retail theft occurred on Saturday, August 8th, at about 11pm, at the Kangaroo Express store at 2100 Memorial Boulevard West in Lakeland.
A store employee reported that this pictured man walked in the store and entered the beer cave. He walked out carrying an 18-pack of Busch beer, and an 18-pack of Natural Light. He then exited the store without paying for the beer.
The employee described the man as a black male in his 30's, who fled the area on foot.
