PCSO detectives have identified and arrested one of the suspects in this case. 19-year-old Rosel Stephene of Winter Haven was arrested for numerous car burglaries within the neighborhoods of Queen's Cove, Osprey Pointe, and Planters Walk. Stephen lives on West Cannon Terrace in Winter Haven.
He has been charged with 6 counts – Armed burglary of a conveyance, 8 counts – Petit theft, 1 count – Felon in possession of firearm, 1 count- Felon in possession of ammunition, 1 count – Grand theft firearm, 14 counts – Person over 16 y.o.a. wearing mask/hood on property of another, 18 counts – Burglary of unoccupied conveyance during state of emergency w/ mask enhancement.

A series of car burglaries was reported to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office on Monday, July 13th in the Queen’s Cove neighborhood near Winter Haven.
The burglaries are believed to have occurred between 1am and 3am.
At this time, it appears that only two suspects were involved.
A security camera briefly captured the suspects as they walked by.
