On Monday, November 11th at about 1:00 p.m., an unknown man procured the services of a taxi from the Grove Park area of Lakeland to the McDonald’s at 4721 South Florida Avenue.
The man advised the cab driver he was going to get his money, but instead he fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male in his twenties with dark hair, wearing a light colored sweatshirt and dark colored ball cap.
He was recorded on surveillance video entering the north side of the business and running out the exit on the south side without paying the fare.
