Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives need the public’s help in identifying the subjects involved in a retail theft case.
On September 21st, an unknown suspect, wearing a white tank top, blue shorts, and black slide on shoes, entered the Publix located at 2125 Highway 540A in Lakeland. The suspect took a green shopping basket and placed several items inside of the basket. The suspect eventually exited the store without purchasing any of the items. The suspect was observed getting in to a silver Toyota Corolla and fled eastbound on Highway 540 A. The suspect has not been identified at this time.
