North Lakeland Kangaroo Express retail theft

The Polk County Sheriff's Office is investigating a retail theft.
The theft occurred around 4:30 a.m. on February 5th at the Kangaroo Express (2100 Memorial Blvd. W.) in unincorporated Lakeland.
According to the store, the man in this video entered the store and asked to buy alcohol. The suspect was told that wasn’t allowed until 7:00 a.m. per a Polk County ordinance. That’s when he grabbed two 24 oz. cans of peach Smirnoff and fled the store without paying.
