North Lakeland Car Burglaries

The Polk County Sheriff's Office is investigating several car burglaries which occurred in north Lakeland. There were burglaries reported this week in the areas of Chase Road, Oak Run Drive, and US 98 & Marcum Road.
The most effective way to avoid being a victim of car burglary is to not leave valuables in your car, and to lock your cars. Overwhelmingly, most car burglaries happen to unlocked cars.
