The suspect in this crime has been identified and arrested. The 14-year-old suspect told a deputy that he stole the bicycle because he saw it, and wanted it. He then added that he intended to sell it to be able to buy some marijuana. The bicycle has been returned to the owner.

A bike theft occurred in a north Combee neighborhood (Lakeland) on October 10th at about 1 am.
The theft was captured on security video, and the suspect appears to be a young white male, heavy set, with brown hair.
He walked into the carport and rode off on the victim's bike.
The bicycle is described as a black and red mens Huffy bicycle. A photo of similar type bicycle is attached.
