On Sunday, November 17th at approximately 4:27 a.m., two suspects broke the glass door at the Dairy Queen at 5239 Highway 98 South in Lakeland.
The suspects used a rock to break the window then proceed to go behind the counter. One suspect grabbed the cash register and the other attempted to take another cash register but was unsuccessful.
The suspects then went to the neighboring business, Palace Pizza, and entered it by breaking the glass with a large rock.
The suspects entered Palace Pizza and took one cash register and fled.
Both suspects appeared to be black males, and both wore gloves.
Suspect 1 was wearing ripped jeans, a black jacket with a Seminoles logo, a black beanie with a green dollar sign, black and white Nike slides, and a black and white bandanna covering his face.
Suspect 2 was wearing a black jacket, grey Champions brand sweat pants, black Nike slides with black and grey socks, and covering his face with something black.
Two cash registers were located on Highway 98 S/Lucile Street in Bartow and collected as evidence.
It appears their vehicle is a dark colored small 4-door with a left tail light out. No suspect information has been confirmed at this time.
