The Polk County Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit needs help in trying to identify the man who committed an armed robbery of the Kangaroo Express store at 2100 West Memorial Boulevard in Lakeland on Tuesday, February 9th at about 1:39 AM.
The suspect entered the store and loitered until it appeared that the customers left the store. At that point, he displayed a knife in his hand, and forced the clerk to open the cash registers.
The suspect is described as a black male, in his early to mid 30’s, between 6’-00” and 6’-02”, and having a medium build.
