Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in solving a retail theft.

At approximately 6:30 PM, on Monday, September 17th, 2018, a retail theft occurred at the Advance Auto Parts located at 4289 Old Kathleen Road Lakeland, FL.

An unknown white male driving a two tone BMW was observed by an employee waiting in the parking lot with the passenger side door open. The employee observed an unknown female leave the store with several cans of spray paint. Upon exiting the store, she entered the passenger’s side of the waiting vehicle. The employee learned the female did not pay for the spray paint before leaving the store. After the theft, the vehicle fled North on Galloway Road.
