An assault occurred at the Circle K store at 933 Pipkin Road in Lakeland on early Wednesday morning, December 30th, at around 1:15am, and the Polk County Sheriff's Office is trying to identify the suspect.
According to the report, the young suspect entered the store and tried to buy cigarillos. When the employee asked for his ID to prove he was old enough to purchase tobacco product, the suspect got angry and began threatening the employee.
The suspect is identified as a black male, wearing a blue or black jacket with a ball cap.
The suspect left the area on a bicycle.
