Car burglary trend in unincorporated Lakeland

The Polk County Sheriff's Office is trying to identify three car burglars who committed multiple car burglaries and stole two guns in the Southchase subdivision off of Crews Lake Rd in unincorporated Lakeland early Friday morning, November 6th. The three thieves were captured on video (seen here) entering several unsecured vehicles and removing a variety of items including cash, credit cards, cell phones, and two firearms.
The suspects then left the subdivision in a grey sedan, possibly a Kia Optima.
