Detectives from the Polk County Sheriff’s Office are hoping that someone might recognize the man in these pictures.
On Friday, February 7th, just before 6:00 pm, a vehicle pulled into the Hilltop Food Mart (615 W. Daughtery Road in Lakeland), and parked. The driver exited the vehicle and entered the store, leaving the vehicle unlocked.
The man in the picture (wearing an Armani Exchange shirt) exited a different vehicle---the pictured light-colored Ford Explorer. The man walked over to the victim’s car, got into it, and removed cash from within.
