Armed home invasion in Winter Haven

Polk County Sheriff’s Robbery detectives are seeking the public’s help in an armed home invasion that occurred in the 3000 block of Avenue S NW of Winter Haven.
Around 40 minutes after midnight late Friday night/early Saturday morning on September 14, 2019, two unknown black male suspects armed with a handgun and a short-barreled shotgun entered the home and demanded money from the victims. After the robbery, the suspects fled in an unknown direction.
One of the suspects is described as a black male, 5’9” tall, thin build, wearing grey jogging pants and no shirt. The other suspect is described as a black male, 6’ tall, medium build, wearing a long-sleeved T-shirt.
