Taking candy from a baby is pathetic. But the baby won't remember the theft a week later.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office is investigating a crime in which someone stole a 7-year-old's brand new electric scooter...and the boy saw it happen. That's pretty low.
The theft occurred on Sunday, November 29th at around 6pm, in the Remington Oaks neighborhood, just off of Duff Road in north Lakeland.
The boy described the theif as a white female, possibly in her 30's, with shoulder-length brown hair. The woman was driving a white SUV (which can be seen here).
The little boy even yelled and pleaded with the woman not to take the scooter.
