On December 4, 2018, a deputy responded to a burglary which occurred overnight at the Cricket Wireless store at 5429 Highway 98 North in Lakeland.
When an employee arrived that morning, he found a broken window. According to the employee, only one thing appeared to have been stolen from the store, a demo model iPhone XR in the box.
Security video was obtained, but the suspect had his face covered.
