Polk County Sheriff's detectives are seeking a suspect wanted in an aggravated battery that occurred at the Kwik Stop Food Mart located at 2100 Old Tampa Hwy in Lakeland.
Around 2:20 p.m. on December 6, 2018, the suspect seen here went into the store and purchased a cigar. The suspect walked around the store for a little while, then returned to the counter, and for unknown reasons threw a concrete block at the clerk, striking the clerk in the face and on the arm. The suspect then fled.
The suspect appears to be a black male, wearing blue athletic shorts and a grey hoodie.
