Polk County Sheriff's deputies are seeking the public's help in locating a suspect who has a warrant for his arrest for the theft of credit cards.
On December 2, 2018, an elderly Davenport man had a mattress delivered to his home. He used his credit card to pay, and after the delivery person left, the victim realized his wallet was missing. Deputies quickly learned that the man's credit card was used at a Walmart and a 7-Eleven store in Orlando. After reviewing video surveillance footage, they confirmed the suspect who used the stolen card was the delivery driver for the mattress.
The suspect with the warrant is Jean Karlos Martinez-Muriel, DOB 8/11/93, of Kissimmee. A Florida driver's license photo of him can be seen here.
If anyone has information about these incidents they are urged to contact Detective Hurley at 863-236-3900.
