Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in a car burglary trend that occurred in the neighborhood off of Walt Williams Road in north Lakeland.
Between the hours of 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018, a suspect wearing a grey hoodie and carrying a backpack entered into unlocked cars on the following streets: O'Doniel Loop East, O'Doniel Loop South, and Centerbrook Drive, stealing cash, a fitbit, and a Surface Pro laptop. The suspect was scared off by a homeowner who came outside and caught him in the act.
