Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in solving a petit theft.
At approximately 6:30 PM, on Sunday, October 18th, 2018, a petit theft occurred at the Circle K located at 8324 Hwy 98 N in Lakeland.
The suspect and the victim were standing in the same checkout line, when the victim laid her cell phone down while checking out and unintentionally left it on the sales counter. The suspect picked it up and left the business with it. The suspect is a white male wearing a black shirt, balding, with dark hair. A video surveillance photo of the suspect can be seenh here.
