Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in a petit theft.

At approximately 11:50 AM, on Tuesday, August 21st, 2018, a petit theft occurred at the Marathon Gas Station located at 933 Pipkin Road W Lakeland, FL.

On 08/21/2018 the victim parked her brand new black, purple, and pink bicycle outside the gas station. While inside the business, an unknown white male removed the bicycle without the victim’s permission. The male appears to have curly hair and was wearing a hat. It is believed he came out of the wooded area located behind the store.
