Polk County Sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help in a personal armed robbery that occurred near Campbell Road West near Ashley Pointe Drive in Lakeland on Friday, June 1, 2018. 

At approximately 4:45 a.m., that day, an unknown white male suspect walked out of a field and pointed a firearm at a passing motorist. The driver stopped, and the suspect robbed him. The suspect is described as 5'9" tall, 160-180 lbs., wearing a blue ballcap, a dark shirt and pants, and armed with a black handgun.
