Polk County Sheriff’s Robbery detectives are asking for the public’s help in an Armed Robbery investigation.

At approximately 10:08 pm, on Thursday, January 9, 2017, an unknown black male suspect entered the Dominos store located at 5315 Highway 98 in Lakeland armed with a handgun and demanding money.

The suspect received an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene northbound on foot.  The clerk was not injured.

The suspect is described to be approximately 5’7”-5’9”, approximately 240 pounds.  He is described as being in his late 30s to early 40s, with salt and pepper colored beard, and brown eyes.  He was wearing a light colored striped hooded jacket, a white t-shirt, camo shorts, white “slide” style flip flops, blue gloves, and something black covering his face.
