Polk County Sheriff's Office Robbery Detectives are investigating an armed robbery (home invasion) that occurred at 9:40 pm, on January 6, 2017, in the area of Linda Street, Lake Wales.

Two suspects unlawfully entered the residence and once inside began to ransack the bedrooms.

The suspects fled the scene after obtaining an undisclosed amount of currency. The suspects were last seen fleeing the scene in a black in color, four- door vehicle.

The following is the description of the suspects:

Suspect-1-B/M 6’0”, 25 YOA, and weighing 120 to 130 pounds. The suspect was wearing a camouflage, hooded sweatshirt, camouflage pants, and had his face covered with a camouflage bandanna. The suspect was armed with a black handgun.

Suspect-2-B/M, 5’4” tall, 25 YOA, and weighing 130 to 140 pounds. The suspect was wearing a camouflage, hooded sweatshirt, camouflage pants, and had his face covered with a camouflage bandanna. The suspect was armed with a black handgun.
