CRIME: RETAIL THEFT
CRIME SCENE: THE KANGAROO GAS STATION LOCATED AT 2100 MEMORIAL BLVD W, LAKELAND, FL, 33815
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE CASE 25-44032

On Thursday, October 30, 2025, at approximately 10:28 p.m., two unidentified males entered the Kangaroo gas station located at 2100 Memorial Boulevard West in Lakeland and attempted to steal merchandise.

One suspect is described as a Hispanic male with a beard, wearing a black shirt, khaki shorts, and a blue backpack. The second suspect is a Black male with a beard, wearing a black shirt with white undersleeves, jeans, and a burgundy baseball cap.

Surveillance footage shows both suspects entering the store together and each grabbing two cases of Busch Light beer. The Hispanic male exited the store without paying. The Black male also attempted to leave but dropped the merchandise and fled when confronted by store personnel. The total value of the stolen merchandise was $42.78.
