On December 7, 2020, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to Publix (1090 Spirit Lake Rd) in Winter Haven in reference to a petit theft. Sometime between 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., a store customer accidently dropped her wallet in one of the aisles. As you can see in this video, a white female, approximately 50-60 years old, wearing a black tank top, dark pants, red shoes, and a dog mask is seen picking up the victim’s wallet, walking down the aisle with it, removing $700 cash from it, then leaving it on top of a package of diapers and walking away.
