A detective from the Polk County Sheriff's Office would like to get the man in this video identified.
On June 25, 2020, at about 9:11 am, he arrived at the Lakeland Walgreen's store (2425 Hwy 92 East) and began gathering items in a shopping basket.
He approached the cashier who scanned all of the merchandise (worth of $200), and he handed her a card to pay for the purchase. The card did not work.
The unknown man walked out of the store with all of the items without paying for them.
The cashier ran outside and saw the man leaving in a white Chevy SUV.
The man was described as: black, heavy build, and about 5'10"-6'00" tall.
