The Polk County Sheriff's Office is trying to identify a couple of trailer thieves.

During the early morning hours of January 2nd, while everyone else was winding down from their New Year celebrations, the individuals in this video were out committing a crime. 

As you can see in this video, the suspects, driving a small, possibly two-toned truck, stole a utility trailer (a yellow, homemade 24’ utility trailer, with 2 wheel ramps) from the KationX business (4725 Lakeland Commerce Parkway unit #1) in Lakeland. 

The thieves didn’t get very far since the wheels were secured by chains. The chained wheels left heavy tread marks from the business parking lot all the way to where the suspects gave up and left the trailer on the side of the roadway near Lakeland Commerce Parkway and Old Combee Road.
