CRIME SCENE: 7-ELEVEN IN DAVENPORT 
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE CASE 26-29862

On July 19, 2026, an unknown male suspect became involved in a physical altercation with a store clerk at the 7-Eleven on Highway 27 in Davenport.

According to the clerk, the suspect became upset after being told he could not receive a refund because no manager was on duty. The clerk told the suspect he would need to return when a manager was available and asked him several times to leave the store as the situation escalated.

The suspect, a black male shown in this video, is seen striking the clerk in the face. A female believed to be the suspect's girlfriend attempted to intervene before the pair left the scene in a black Cadillac Escalade.
