The Polk County Sheriff's Office is trying to identify the man in these photos.
On Friday, January 15th, at about 7:30 am, the man entered into the McDonald's restaurant in Mulberry (205 Canal Street), and proceeded to go straight to the fountain machine and fill up two cups of beverage, without paying.
As this was going on, another man in the restaurant was watching the suspect. The suspect saw that he was being watched and exchanged words (not good ones) with the witness.
The witness walked outside behind the man and watched as the suspect got into an unspecified vehicle.
As the suspect drove by, he pointed a gun at the witness and then left.
