The Polk County Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit is investigating an armed robbery which occurred at a drive-thru convenience store on Combee Road in unincorporated Lakeland.

Sometime around 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, August 21, 2021, the man in this video entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect then took the cash from the register and placed it in a plastic bag before he ran out of the store. The victim was not injured.

The suspect was wearing a black hoodie, dark grey sweat pants, black running shoes, black sunglasses, black gloves, and a black face mask over his mouth.
