Hit-and-run suspect in Haines City sought

Polk County Sheriff's deputies are seeking the public's help in a hit-and-run investigation involving this truck in Haines City.
Around 6:15 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2021, a pedestrian who was walking with his walker in the parking lot of the One Stop convenience store located at 2998 US Hwy 92 in Haines City was struck by this white GMC pickup truck, possibly an early model between 2004-2007.
The truck had an unknown driver and a white male passenger. The back bumper of the truck hit the victim, who fell to the ground and suffered multiple injuries. The driver fled after striking the victim.
Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Detective Lucas at 863-668-3100, reference case number 21-16532.
