Beverage Depot Robbery in Inwood

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery that occurred at the Beverage Depot (2501 Avenue G NW, Inwood) in Winter Haven, on Tuesday, May 19th, at around 9:20 p.m.
The suspect can be seen in the video wearing all black, with his face covered.
He ran into the drive-thru, grabbed one of the employees and demanded money, putting it into a blue bag that he brought with him.
He fled out of the opposite end of the drive-thru, running north down 25th Street.
The suspect was described as being a black male, about six-feet tall, medium build, and possibly between the ages of 18-21 years old.
The employees were not injured in the robbery.
