On Wednesday, February 17th at about 2:19 PM, an unknown man attempted to burglarize an occupied residence. The Polk County Sheriff's Office is asking for help with identifying the suspect.
The resident said that a window at the rear of the residence was opened, as well as the gate to the back yard.
The man was driving a blue Chevy Equinox with tinted windows. He had parked it on a different street and walked to the victim's home.
If you recognize this man or his vehicle, or you have other information that might be helpful to this investigation, please contact Detective Medlar at 863-236-3932.
