The Polk County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery which occurred during the evening of April 25th in Eagle Lake.

The victim of the robbery had scheduled to meet the suspect about some money that was owed.

When the suspect arrived at the location in a maroon Chevrolet Impala (dark tinted windows and no hubcaps) with several other unknown people (only description available is that they were all black males).

Video of the incident showed an unknown suspect stepping out of the car to allow the victim inside. That suspect then got back in and shut the door.

The victim told detectives that he was ordered to give up all of his money, then beaten by all of the others inside the car.

After exiting the car in another location, the victim said one of the men fired shots at the victim but missed, and the Impala fled the scene.
