Polk County Sheriff’s Office detectives are asking for the public’s help in locating stolen firearms.
Between Thursday, October 11, 2018 and Monday, October 15, 2018, unknown suspects illegally entered a structure in the area of Reynolds Road, Lakeland and stole several firearms (WWII collectible rifles, pistol, double-barreled shotgun, and an AK-47).
A few of the firearms were recovered int he Secret Cove neighborhood, but detectives are still looking for the remaining weapons.
Anyone with information about this investigation is urged to contact Detective Grant at 863-298-6200 or or if you'd like to remain anonymous, you can call Heartland Crime Stoppers at 1-800-226-TIPS (8477). Anonymity is guaranteed!
