05-10-2018 INFORMATION SOUGHT IN RETAIL THEFT

Polk County Sheriff’s detectives are asking for the public’s help in a retail theft that occurred at the El Carpaso Loco store located at 6980 SR 60 West in Mulberry.
At approximately 2:30 p.m., on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, the unknown black male seen here entered the store, took a Kaloric brand air fryer off of a shelf, brought it to the employee and told her he was returning it for cash. The employee gave him $40.00 cash, and he left in a black newer-model sedan, possibly a Chevrolet.
This suspect has committed similar type of frauds and thefts at other stores in the Tampa Bay area.
Anyone with information about this investigation is urged to contact Detective Pantalone at 863-499-2400.
