The return of the most anticipated rematch in Polk County: Battle of the Badges IV. The Polk County Sheriff's Office will defend their title of Softball Champion against the Lakeland Police Department.



Gates will open at 3 pm, first pitch for the softball game will be at 3:45 pm. Teams will conclude play at 5 pm.

Following the game will be a trophy presentation, check presentation, a fallen officer tribute, leading up to the 6 pm Flying Tigers game. Flying Tigers players and coaches will be wearing specialty law enforcement appreciation jerseys.

The 29 game worn jerseys will be available for purchase for $100. Jerseys will be game worn and autographed by the Flying Tigers player or coach following the game. Proceeds from the jerseys will benefit the corresponding foundations of the LPD and PCSO.

There will be a fireworks extravaganza presented by Aaron's Furniture following the Flying Tigers game.
