This suspect has been identified as 31-year old Shantirria Thomas of Lakeland, and a complaint affidavit has been forwarded to the State Attorney's Office. 




CRIME: RETAIL THEFT
CRIME SCENE: CVS STORE, S.FLORIDA AVE., LAKELAND
POLK COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE CASE 25-50990

On December 16, 2025, an unknown woman entered CVS on South Florida Ave in Lakeland and selected multiple items. 

The suspect proceeded to the self-checkout. The suspect scanned only a few of the items. She then left the store without paying for the remaining items.

The total value of the stolen items was estimated to be worth over $122. 

The suspect left the area in a gray 2013 Kia Optima.
